Q&A With…. Valerie Walden

This month we sat down with Valerie Walden, a Customer Service Agent on our Answering Service Care team since July of 2016.

What is your role with the company?

I answer phones for doctors, lawyers, found animals, fast food restaurants—you name it, I can do it. I relay messages to the office, or to wherever the client needs and whatever the client has requested.

I cover the Florida region, but can take calls that originate anywhere.

What is it like to work with this company?

I love, love, love working here!, I love everything about it. Everyone is so kind. We have a great environment. It’s like a little family.

I get all my questions answered. I get help whenever I need it. Everyone is so happy to help and support, and that makes a positive difference. 

Have you learned any important lessons while working here in this job?

In my old job in tech support, I did a lot of troubleshooting. If someone is upset or frustrated, I empathize with them and do whatever I can to help them feel better. It’s important to show them you are doing everything you can to help them, and that you are listening.

It took time, but I had to learn patience.

What kinds of things do you like to do outside of work?

I am a mother of two (a son, 1 and a daughter, 7). I am also getting married soon.

I love to do things with my family, such as bowling and the movies. I spend quality time with the people I care about.
