This is a personal welcome written by our founder, mentor and father, Herman Shooster.
While Herman passed away in 2014, his wise words and legacy live on in all of us at Answering Service Care.
Of all the things I value in my life, nothing is more important to me than my family.
Imagine how grateful I am to be able to work in the same business with all my children – as well as my son- and daughters-in-law – even some of the grandkids. So it should come as no surprise to you that I insist that all of our employees, clients and vendors be treated as part of our extended family. What a great culture for fostering long relationships! Our family-friendly values not only led to phenomenal employee retention, but also to outstanding performance. All of our clients know they can count on us to make every caller feel special—you know, like family.
From our humble beginnings in 1974 when we acquired an answering service named “Ding-a-Ling” (yes, that that was our first name – we also had a switchboard and rotary phones, too.), I’ve always known we would be able to do extraordinary things if we focused on exceptional service – and we have.
In the late 1980s, we discovered that our technology and expertise could be applied to a wide range of teleservices and we soon expanded into a call center and fulfillment company – without ever losing our core business as the answering service that cares deeply about you and your customers.
Our technology is second-to-none, but it would be worthless were it not for the training, commitment and enthusiasm of our employees. Today, our company employs hundreds of people in a warm, extended-family atmosphere. Many have been with us since the inception of our company.
We’ve built Answering Service Care to be one that treats your customers just the way you’d like to be treated. And because we treat our people right, they treat yours right.
