Answering Service Care, formerly known as Ding-A-Ling Answering Service, was founded by Herman and Dorothy Shooster when they bought the business on October 15, 1974. Herman, who passed away in 2014, inspired everyone around him with his wealth of experience, both in business and in life. Today their son Michael and his wife Alizabeth continue to run the family business. Michael said, “It’s been an amazing ride and just feels great to have the opportunity to carry on with the family business.” Their four children, Forrest, Max, Jacob and Logan periodically work on projects for the business, in between their higher learning studies, and all have played an integral role in continuing the business’ legacy.
The third generation of Shoosters is now making its mark on the family business, and we look forward to what the next 40 or 50 years hold for all of us!
