Did you know there are several ways to customize your Call Forwarding service for maximum efficiency and convenience? For starters there are a few different kinds of call forwarding but we will focus on the four most important ones. Even though they are pretty standard, the nomenclature may vary by carriers as well as instructions in how to forward your line to us.
Types of Call Forwarding:
Call Forward Busy
This option forwards incoming calls to the answering service automatically if your line is busy. It is setup on a carrier level only once. This is one of our preferred methods since it will save you time and money and ensures that you will never miss a call.
Call Forward No Answer
This option gives you an opportunity to answer your call before it is automatically forwarded to the answering service. It is also set up on a carrier level only once; and you can define the # of rings before the calls are forwarded. This is one of our preferred methods since it will save you time and money and ensures that you will never miss a call.
Unconditional Call Forwarding
This option requires you to manually forward your calls by following the carriers instructions (Ex.: *72) each time that you want to forward your lines. This can be timing consuming and it is subject to human errors or forgetfulness.
Remote Call Forwarding
This option allows you to forward your line from anywhere, away from the office.
